3 Tips for Successful Rentals

Thinking about listing an item to rent on rentduck.com, but not sure how to promote it and get people to actually rent it?

Here are some tips to market your item effectively:

1. List it with good pictures and a brief, but thorough description.  Good pictures or attaching a youtube video of you using the item, helps others to see how it can be best utilized and envision themselves doing so.

    2. Share the listing with others- rentduck.com makes it easy to share on facebook, Instagram, linkedin and other social media sites. Letting your friends and neighbors know you’re willing to rent something is the best way to let them know.  You may also look for forums that would more likely need something like what you’re renting. 

     3. Promote your listing as a featured listing. This means it will get the first eyes every time someone logs onto the app or the website.  Featured listings are a cheap but effective way of boosting your exposure.

There are a lot of other ways to promote your listing, but the most effective way is simply to just not be shy about it.  Talk about it, and post about it.  If you let them know, it might take a little while, but eventually they will come.
